Okay, so let me get this straight: the Rhétos are your class, similar to the Junior Class here. This Cabaret thing, is it an annual event? only for the Rhétos? Does the school do other performances?
The Rhétos are my class, which would be the equivalent of the Senior class in the US or terminale in France (Belgium goes 1-6 primaire then 1-6 secondaire, with rheto being the nickname for sixième.) The Cabaret is an annual event (I believe this was the 18th), which is open for anyone in the school, as long as they try out and are selected. It's tradition for the rhétos to do a special performance at the end (the whole thing was around 30 different acts of varying lengths, and lasted just under four hours, with intermission). The school doesn't do a lot of other performances, but there is a tournoi de l'éloquence with some other schools (I guess a big speech and debate-type competition) and now is having a lunchtime soccer tournament, but that's as much as I know. I told a couple people about Orono's drama program and they were jealous.
